Nikk Legend: The Trade Academy Scam

Nikk Legend: The Trade Academy Scam
This article is a comprehensive review on a brand new entrepreneur, Nikk Legend, who is selling an online forex trading course called The Trade Academy. Before we go into the details of the millennial entrepreneurs product, I wanted to first clarify that this is NOT the same review as the one I previously did on The Investor Academy, which I believe is a far more enhanced & professional day trading academy.
You can find my article on The Investor Academy by clicking here.
What is the Trade Academy?
The Trade Academy is an online Forex trading academy that looks to help individuals learn the skill of day trading the Forex markets.
One of the things I look at when analyzing various online courses is the way the entrepreneur is selling the course. After speaking to a few people who have purchased Nikk Legend’s course, I found that the entire sales pitch is filled with meaningless propaganda that is centered around getting the students to purchase a cheap $37 version of the course, only to be continuously pitched on purchasing a more expensive version of the course or even in the in-person training that he offers.
Now, there’s nothing wrong with selling a high-priced course, but a red flag for almost any online course I have ever come across is when the initial buy-in is just a marketing ploy to hopefully get the students to purchase the real product or service later. Moreover, what you get with this initial buy in is novice information that is not meant to teach anything, just a sales technique to sell a high-ticket product.
The Legitimacy Of The Trade Academy
Although I do not agree with the deceptive practices of Nikk Legend, I would not go as far to say that what he has to offer in his online academy is completely useless. I do think that he is somewhat of an expert in his field and that there is some value you can pull from his course.
Below are the 3 main products he offers after pitching his students on the measly $37 opt-in course:
– Simple Profit Trading System – $196
– Advanced Trading System – $1997
– In-Person Mentorship – Price On Request
Let start with the Simple Profit Trading System:
To me, this is another course that is meant to up sell you to purchase the other 2 products listed above. From the resources I’ve spoken with, this course is nothing but basic material that will barely get you an understanding of what the Forex markets are, let alone an understanding of how to trade it consistently and profitably. The information that is presented is not false information, but again Nikk Legend is sticking to his theme of providing bare minimum value in order to get you to purchase the higher priced services.
Moving on to the Advanced Trading System:
To me, this is the best product based on its value and price point. Here the training gives you a far deeper understanding of the forex markets. Trading is much more than technical analysis and what he doesn’t provide you in the cheaper courses, he provides in this training. This course gives you roughly 16 hours of content that includes additional webinars, Facebook group access, and even a private coach.
Finally, the in-person mentor-ship:
After conducting my research, I was not able to find a hard price point on this service as apparently the academy wants to be surreptitious about the cost of this service. However, understanding the hierarchy of his other courses, from the $47 sales pitch course, to the $1997 advanced trading system, this in-person mentor-ship is just the final pitch that he wants all his students to eventually buy into.
More likely than not, this is going to be heavily over-priced and will not provide you any more value than the video-based instruction that he is providing in the Advanced Trading System. The in-person training only lasts 3 days and is essentially replicating the information of his second most expensive course.
To me, if you are looking to put your trust into this guy, there is absolutely no reason to purchase the in-person mentor-ship as he should be able to provide you with enough information and knowledge through the video-based instruction.
Closing Thoughts
Overall, I give The Trade Academy a score of a C+. I personally do not like the way he is consistently deceptive in his approach to market his programs. I do think there are far better day trading programs out there at a better cost. I think he has some value and knowledge to offer, but at a far too expensive price and at the expense of his own dignity as many of his students continue to be deceived.
Also, because The Trade Academy is relatively new, the infrastructure is sub-par as most of his sales reps/coaches seem to kids who Nikk has brought on for a cheap price.
Personally, if I were looking for a Forex day trading course to purchase I would go with The Investor Academy, as not only is it far more professional, organized, and structured, but the price point of their Forex mastery course is far more reasonable at $995 for everything. This gives you access to the beginner training all the way to the advanced training, and they don’t hold anything back when teaching its students how to day trade Forex.
I don’t think Nikk Legend is a bad person, I just do not agree with some of his practices. I wish his academy the best moving forward.

I do not find Nikk Legend’s course reliable from personal experience. That is all I have to say.
Do not buy, you can find a lot of the
Content on the internet for free. I learned absolutely nothing from his course.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COURSE! Don’t say I didn’t warn y’all…
I did learn some information in regards to trading when I took his course!
They trick you to buy products that you dont want, the process of purchasing is built that way. I ordered an additional content by mistake. Been trying to contact them: no answers! Not a reliable company.
The information they have and teach can be found purely for free. The in person mentorship/workshop is $10K to $22K depending on 1) an interview process where they slyly ask about your income, what you do for secular work, but mask it in personal dramatic stories to think with emotion. This helps them gauge how much they’ll charge you. If anyone has paid this is dispute it with your credit card or bank. 2) your credit, they will have a “special finance” person call you and have them guide you in taking out loans or new credit cards to pay the amount. They are truly a scam, they just know how to sell a product that everyone is wanting to pursue
Wow, and here I thought that I was the only one!
I enrolled into their business on Jan 1, 2020. I Reached out on Jan 5, 2020 with concerns that what I had purchased would not give me access to the program. I received a reply, stating that I must of used an alternate email address, which was not the case. Eventually, the program was applied to the account. While I reviewed the contents of the program, I found it to be extremely poor in quality, and decided that this avenue for my development into FOREX was not for me, so I processed the cancelation of the trial (which is instructed on their website).
On the first screen of the course, it states “If you wish to cancel please email keylevels@thetradeacademy.com“, which I did during the trial period. No replies and no action was taken by The Trade Academy to cancel my subscription
I reached out again, through several methods (Facebook Group, instagram, and a few emails found on the Trade Academys website: happy@thetradeacademy.com, which Ive had replied from, Alan, director of Support).
I was assured that my subscription was canceled, and a return processed. I did receive the refund and assumed that would be the last of my experience with The Trade Academy. No. I checked my bank statements again today, and realized that on April 10, 2020, I was charged again for a subscription that I’ve not been apart of.
Additionally, I had gone through the website and into my profile, and removed ALL credit information back in February, and yet – I am still being charged, which leads me to believe that they are holding onto credit card information from users, for what purpose is unclear, but through my experience where Ive removed it from their portal (sso.teachable.com).
I have compiled a timestamp account of my experience with The Trade Academy, and I’ve reached out one more time in hopes of a solution. I am extremely disappointed in their quality of programs and services.
If I do not have a satisfactory solution to this concern by end of week, I shall share my detailed account with other social media outlets, and news agencies that are willing to hear my experience.
You can easily learn the basics on youtube. What he is teaching is all novice. I will admit that I did learn a bit from it, but there are better online courses out there. Join at your own risk
